Plastpol is an important event for the injection moulding industry in Poland

The Plastpol trade fair is an important event for the injection moulding industry in Poland and the Eastern Europe. DME leading experts joined the fair to showcase our newest solutions for plastic processing aimed at reducing costs and maximizing the productivity. 

Plastpol provided a great opportunity to discuss the industry trends and challenges. With many of our customers attending, we were able to share the innovative DME technologies and provide the support every step of the way whether at design, mould manufacturing, or part production stage.

Gregor Dytko, Sales Director of DME in Poland, says: ‘This year's Plastpol trade was a success and had a high attendance. We welcomed hundreds of customers to our stand, who were all interested in the various solutions that DME presented. We are glad that the Polish market welcomes the presence of DME and the solutions it brings to further develop the moulding industry, increase the profitability and production for our customers.’

We attended an event hosted by our partner Contura-MTC

Temperier Forum Days hosted by our partner Contura-MTC in Menden, Germany, is an expert panel accompanied by an exhibition. It is filled with presentations and discussions about heat exchange management in injection moulds. Debating over presentations about topics covering the future of applied research in the field, simulation methods for improving heat and energy use in the moulding process, energy efficient cooling and much more was very enlightenning for everyone.

The quality of the event was summarized by Sebastian Seelhorst, one of the DME experts attending: „The Temperier Forum Days at Contura were very good! In a pleasant atmosphere you could discuss with people from the industry, the lectures were also very informative and relevant. A very successful event!“

Our representatives Joerg Voss and Sebastian Seelhorst presented our newest solution for hot runner system insulation, the revolutionary iControl.

Their presentation was very well received as our solution is unique one on the market and represents an excellent opportunity to cut energy costs thanks to significantly reduced heat dissipation from hot runner channels area of the mould.

Components Extension March 2023

We are introducing hundreds of new items in this major component extension.

Our range of compression springs now includes round wire springs with load from light to very heavy. The range of guiding elements for the sliders is extended with standard Guiding stocks, Self-lubricated guiding stocks and Self lubricated slide plates.

New solutions for connection between sliders and hydraulic cylinder such as Coupling set for hydraulic cylinder or separately Coupling pin for hydraulic cylinder and Counter piece for coupling pin are now available. In addition we have implemented Shims for installation in parting line in Round and Rectangular shapes. For safe manipulation with the mold you can choose our newly added Tool safety device or part of adjustable lifting device Distance bolt. To solve the cable management on molds we have introduced Cable retainers.

Further, for fixation of cavity and core insert in frames we are delivering Position wedges in wide range of dimensions. Two new types of our Linear ball bearings for ejection packets provide you more options in mold design. Cooling range expanded to include Extensions pipe with thread. Our portfolio of retainers is also extended with Spring-loaded locking screw with higher spring force.
